Information to all Bracknell Herons Angling club members.........for Season 2024/25

The unfortunate difficult decision we had to make this year, for the first time in about 8 year's, is to increase annual year fee up to 65 pounds for age group 17 to 65, and 45 for juniors 12 to 17,and oap and rdp 45 pounds.

Joining nights will be held at farleymore lake on four Wednesday evening's on the  17th and 24th April, also May 1st and 8th at 4pm until 8pm, cash or cheque. 

Please attach your old photo or bring your old license with you to renew for your 24/25 club license, after the 24th of May you will not be allowed to fish until you have your 24/25 license on your person and on the the bank......

Also the new website is up and running now please see all information, we have also updated the rules please read carefully and please make sure you have the right equipment l am sure crowthrone angling will help you out......

Also can we please remind all members, due to a few members not being happy about being asked to show your club license to bailiffs, if you don't want to be interrupted while fishing then please place your license in eye sight for the bailiffs to see, because the club will not take kindly anyone being disrespectful to a bailiff doing a voluntary job for all of us. 

Also from this season anyone who is staying late at farleymore/mill pond, you will need to message me from your mobile phone on the bank, and you will receive a message allowing you to fish, this is a council request so please make sure you message me before 7pm that day,  if a bailiff checks after 7pm and you haven't got the cover message then you will be ask to leave.  Like l have said this is a council ruling not made by the club, if this is not followed then fishing after dusk and night fishing rights will be taken away to all members and the club....

Two late bookings from two visiting clubs for SHP and WESTMORLAND

May 12  VISITING club, REEDS and THATCHAM, WESTMORLAND  lake closed to members and day tickets.

August 11 VISITING club PROSPECT  SHP lake closed to members and day tickets. 

...Attention all members .......

It's come to the club's attention from our bailiffs that some members are not willing to show there club License...

Without showing attitude and abuse..

Well it's a club rule that all members must show there license , even if the baillif knows you and even if you are asked multiple times in a day. 

Myself and the club will not stand for this attitude by members to our bailiffs, who themselves volunteer there time to look after our waters, for us all.......if you don't want to be interrupted while fishing, then place your license behind you in full site so the baillif can see.....

So from today any club member refuses to show there license or shows any attitude towards our bailiffs your license will be marked and you be reported. 

We are sorry to take this action, but it's not right for my bailiffs to put up with this attitude towards them.
